1951 Alvis TA21
This car was produced by the inovative Alvis company and featured independant front suspension, overhead valves and a 3 litre six cyclinder engine. Only 81 left-hand drive models were produced. This car finished in Willow Green with faun leather interior. The chassis, brakes, engine were all built by Alvis. The body was built by coachmaker Tickford Inc.It was delivered with many special features: Lucas headlamps, dip switch, tirco windscreen washer, Bonnet ventilators, polished wood cappings to screen pillars, sun visors, and kilo speedometer. This car has won many People's Choice Awards at the Annual Ilinois British Car show. In 2025, it won a Best in Class Award at the Geneva Concours The first owner was the zazz singer and pianist, Pia Beck.
